1.Q. It is important to consistently work on your senior project, whether it is break or we are in school. What did you do over the break with your senior project?
A. Over the winter break I worked alongside my mentor on finishing up my independent component.
2.Q. What was the most important thing you learned from what you did, and why? What was the source of what you learned?
A. Throughout the break I attended various NAMI meetings held nearby. In these meetings we would listen to speakers who have had a mental stigma affecting their family in some way, from listening to the variety of the speakers they all mentioned one solitary phrase,”You Are Not Alone”. This helped me realize that no matter what one is going through there are always others that are supporting you every step of the way.
3.Q. If you were going to do a 10 question interview on questions related to answers for your EQ, who would you talk to and why?
A.The person I would interview is the President of the East San Gabriel Valley Chapter, for being able to overcome such challenges in his life and for being around mental stigma without losing hope.
